Cup of Kindness boxes can be found in the Welcome Center. The money contributed in the boxes is distributed by Lutheran Social Services to local families who have crisis needs.

Moveable FeastPlease join the fellowship on Sunday mornings between services in the gathering area of Ebenezer Hall.  You are always welcome to bring food items for the Moveable Feast through the week and refrigerate or freeze your item(s) in the kitchen on the main floor of Ebenezer Hall. The Miracles of Lent – You are invited to join us every Wednesday for one of our midweek Lenten worship services which will be held each week at 8:30 a.m. (school chapel with the ESM children), 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. We look forward to worshipping with you!

Lenten Meals – Lenten lunches will be offered following the 11:30 a.m. worship service and light Lenten dinners will be offered prior to the 7:00 p.m. worship service from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. Both meals will be held in the lower level of Ebenezer Hall. The menu for the March 22 dinner includes: ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dessert and beverages.

Orders for Easter Flowers to help beautify our altar on Easter Sunday, April 16th, are now being taken. Order forms can be found in the March newsletter, the Welcome Center, or Ebenezer Hall. Please fill out the form completely, and return it, along with your payment, to the church office. If paying by check please make payable to Emmanuel Church. Your flowers will be available for pick-up following the 11:00 a.m. worship service on Easter morning. Thank you!

Help Needed with Wellspring Snacks! – March has arrived and we are blessed at Emmanuel to provide this month’s snacks for the Wellspring after-school program! You can help by providing one or more boxes of individually packaged, single-serving snacks. Snack examples include granola bars, bags of pretzels, trail mix, goldfish, nuts or something similar. Donations can be dropped off at the church office. Cash donations are also welcome and can be listed on the “other line” of your envelope and marked “Wellspring snacks.” A sign-up sheet with instructions on time and location is available in the Welcome Center. Senior High Youth—9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Graders

SNA will meet on Sundays, March 19 and 26 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Loft.

Senior Lunch Bunch – Tuesday, March 21 – Join us and other members 50 and over for fellowship, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the lower level of Ebenezer Hall. Lunch begins at 12:00 p.m. After lunch, Patrick Paris, Hearing Instrument Specialist from HearCare Audiology, will talk about our sanctuary hearing loop, how it is accessed and what is happening currently to assist anyone experiencing hearing loss. Please make reservations by Friday, March 17 by calling the receptionist at 423-1369 or by signing up in the Welcome Center. Cost for lunch is $7.

Summer Rummage Sale – Mark your calendars now for an Emmanuel Rummage Sale, sponsored by our Quilters/Crafters groups, that will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24.  Set-up for the rummage sale will begin on Monday, June 19, and continue through June 22. Due to the lack of storage space, we are asking you to please bring your donated items in only during the week of the sale.  Items brought in before June 19 will not be accepted. Further information regarding the times of the sale will be published at a later date.  If you have any questions, please call Phyllis Tittman, 489-3326. Proceeds from the sale will be used to help pay for the new pew cushions. 

Vacation Bible School – VBS 2017 will be held Monday, June 12 – Thursday, June 15 from 6-8:30 p.m. The theme will be “River of Life.” To register your child(ren) to attend, or to sign up to be a volunteer, please go to vbsmate.com/EmmanuelFWIN. Food Pantry – To meet the needs for those who visit our food bank in March, we could use donations of cereal, canned fruit, peanut butter, mac and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, canned juice, deodorant, shampoo, dish and hand soap, toothpaste and paper products, especially toilet paper and paper towels. Food donations can be placed in the “Food Pantry” box located in the Welcome Center. Cash donations may be placed in your church envelope and marked “food pantry” on the “other” line. Members may stop by for food any day when the office is open, and the food pantry will be available for those living in the 46802 zip code on Thursday, April 20, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the lower level of Ebenezer Hall. LWML – All ladies are invited to join their sisters in Christ for fun, fellowship, and faith at the 2017 LWML district Retreat, March 31-April 1, at Farmstead Inn and Conference Center in Shipshewana, IN. The Lutheran Laymen’s League (LLL) Prayer Breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 25, at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, beginning at 8:30 a.m. The featured speaker will be the Speaker of The Lutheran Hour, Rev. Gregory Seltz. Tickets are available from Cal Schultz, 441-9591 or at the door. The cost is $7 per person or $14 per family for breakfast. Plan to arrive by 8:00 a.m.

Concordia Lutheran High School seeks a qualified individual to serve as the Athletic Secretary. This full-time position will be responsible for assisting the Athletic Director with contracts, maintaining the athletic budget, preparing contest programs, and tracking records and scheduling, among other responsibilities. An associate degree or two years of related experience are required. A college degree is preferred. Cross Connections Grief Support Group – "Cross Connections' Grief Support Group will be starting back up Thursday March 23rd and going through May 4th. This support group is for people going through any type grief such as loss of loved ones, divorce, job loss, relocation, etc. The group will meet each Thursday for 6 weeks at Cross Connections' main office at 4618 E.
