Emmanuel Golf Outing – The 32nd Annual Emmanuel Golf Outing will be held on Saturday, September 30, at 9:00 a.m. The fees are $60 per golfer and include green fees, lunch and refreshments during the outing. If you are not a golfer, you can also sponsor the outing in one of the following ways: Hole Sponsor @ $150, Lunch Sponsor @ $75, or Snack Cart Sponsor @ $50. If you can help sponsor or play in this important event, go to Emmanuel’s web page at www.emmanuellutheran.org and click on the “sign up” link and simply follow the steps, or register/sponsor forms are available in Ebenezer Hall.

LCMS Disaster Response Plans for Texas –LCMS Disaster Response teams will deploy as soon as emergency officials allow them to enter the disaster zone. As with Katrina, we will await information from LCMS and Indiana District as to how we can help with manpower. In the meantime you can help with monetary donations by going to www.LCMS.org and click on give now or mark Harvey on the other line of your envelope and we will send that donation to LCMS Disaster Response.

Cup of Kindness boxes can be found in the Welcome Center. The money contributed in the boxes is distributed by Lutheran Social Services to local families who have crisis needs.

PALS for Washington School - We are looking for volunteers to assist us in sharing the gift of reading and the Gospel with a child from our community. We will be hosting an hour long training, with two dates to choose from: Wednesday, September 13, or Wednesday, September 20, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The PALS program begins on Wednesday, September 27, and runs each Wednesday through November 15. Food Pantry –Food donations can be placed in the “Food Pantry” box located in the Welcome Center. Cash donations may be placed in your church envelope and marked “food pantry” on the “other” line. Members may stop by for food any day when the office is open, and the food pantry will be available for those living in the 46802 zip code area on Thursday, September 21, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the lower level of Ebenezer Hall. Visual Faith - Join the Emmanuel Visual Faith Team on Saturday, September 30, in Ebenezer Hall for an open house from 9 a.m. to noon to slow down and be in God’s Word and prayer. This is an open time to spend in community with others and to work in your Bible journals. Love and Logic Early Childhood - Parenting Made Fun! – This class is being offered at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School, located at 6318 W. California Rd. in Ft.
