"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God..."

- Ephesians 2:8

Sabbatical Preparation – As part of the Emmanuel family, we all have a role to play in preparing for and participating in Pastor Thomas and Sonya’s renewal period (January-May, 2019).  We can pray!  Their Sabbatical is our Sabbatical, as well.  Therefore, let’s all join together in prayer on a daily basis seeking God’s best for the Eggolds and for Emmanuel.  Be sure to take home the purple Sabbatical prayer handout for June which outlines prayer requests.  Extra copies are available in the Sanctuary and the Welcome Center.

Pictorial Directory – Another Day Has Been Added! – Emmanuel’s photography dates June 26 – 30 have all been filled, but because we still have members who would like to schedule their appointment, another day has been added, Monday, June 25. Go to Emmanuel’s website at emmanuellutheran.org, click on the icon and the instructions will walk you through the process, or you can call the church office at 423-1369 and Becki will be happy to help you. If that day does not work for you, you can call 1-800-521-4611 and Lifetouch can schedule you at another church that is also taking pictures for their directory.  Not to worry your picture will be sent to Lifetouch for our directory.

Volunteer Landscapers Needed – We are looking for volunteers to assist with the church and school landscaping once a week. Some of the duties would include planting and maintaining flowers and plants, weed removal, landscape design ideas, light mulching, edging, pruning and trimming. Whether it’s for an hour or two, or a half day, your help would be greatly appreciated to help beautify our campus. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Randy Thompson at 260-312-7989 or email him at randy@emmanuellutheran.org. Thank you!
