But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
1 Corinthians 12:9
From May 2015 to August 2024, I served as the church secretary at Emmanuel. In August 2024, I moved into my current position as Director of Administration and Finance. The best part of working at Emmanuel is how everyone treats me like family.
I was born and grew up in Decatur, Indiana, where I was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. I attended St. Peter—Immanuel Lutheran School, Bellmont High School, and Indiana University in Bloomington, graduating with double majors in Marketing and Distribution and Operations Management.
After graduating from I.U., I spent over ten years in Purchasing and Project Management related jobs. During this time, I met my late husband, Joe, we were married for 17 years. I am blessed to be the mom of two teenage sons and am thankful for the years that I was able to be a stay-at-home mom.
