I am new to the staff at Emmanuel, having begun my service as Director of Children’s Ministry in October 2022. There is something very special about Emmanuel Lutheran Church. There is a vibrant energy that is unlike any other place I have served. The staff, congregation, and Emmanuel—St. Michael School have been extremely welcoming to me and my family. I am truly blessed to join in on the work God is doing here.

I was born and raised right here in Fort Wayne. I attended Unity Lutheran School (now Lutheran South Unity School) and was baptized and confirmed at Peace Lutheran Church. After graduating from South Side High School in 2004, I attended Concordia University, Nebraska and graduated in 2008 after majoring in middle school education with a concentration in Language Arts and Science. I taught grade school served in Children’s Ministry at congregations in Illinois and Maryland before returning to Fort Wayne.

My husband Brent and I were married in 2008 and we have been blessed with two sons, Braeden and Oliver.
